stolen iPad

I had a new-in-box unopened iPad in my luggage on a trip from SFO - Frankfort- Marseilles.

No iPad in the suitcase when got home.

My other suitcase had a tag in it from Covenant Aviation Security, inspected by Screener ID 135128. This is when the suitcases are opened for bomb sniffing at SFO.

My Apple receipt does not have the computer serial # on it.

Is there a way to locate the iPad by contacting Apple?

Covenant Security and United Airlines have not yet responded to my claim.
